My RepresentativeMark L. Maddox
Biography Counting it an honor to serve the people of Weakley and Carroll Counties in the General Assembly, Mark Maddox is privileged to be married to Kerri. They have three young children: Meyer Blaine, Molly Shannon, and Mark Lee II. The Maddoxes are members of the Dresden Cumberland Presbyterian Church where Mark is an elder. Mark earned a B.A. at Trinity University in 1981 and an M.Ed. at Trinity University in 1986. He works as the Technology Coordinator for Weakley County Schools where he has served in several positions for 24 years.
In addition to being state representative, Mark serves his community as a Director of Community Developmental Services; a member of the Rotary Club and the Weakley and Carroll County Chambers of Commerce. Mark is also a member of the Weakley County Education Association.
Mark is a member of the 100th through 106th General Assemblies serving as Assistant Democratic Leader in the 103rd and 104th General Assemblies and as Democratic Whip in the 105th and 106th General Assemblies.
