Single; Baptist; businessman; Graduate of Fulton High school; B.S. in Business/Finance, University of Tennessee, Knoxville; past coordinator of Arlington Neighborhood Crime Watch; member of PTA, Knox County Democratic Party; named Tennessee Congress of Parents and Teachers Outstanding School Board Member, 1990; Knox County Council PTA Outstanding School Board Member, 1990; served on Knox County Board of Education, 1986-91. House member of the 97th through 105th General Assemblies.
